Voltaren Emulgel contains diclofenac sodium. Voltaren Gel is clinically proven to relieve pain and inflammation. Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent that alleviates pain and reduces inflammation (swelling). Voltaren Emulgel features a cooling and moisturizing effect without strong odors.

Active Ingredients: Diclofenac sodium.

Uses:

• Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat pain and inflammation in muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments due to sprains, strains, sports injuries (such as tennis elbow), and soft tissue rheumatism (such as bursitis and tendinitis).

Dosage (unless otherwise directed by a physician):

• Adults and children over 12 years: Gently rub the gel into the affected area.
• Use Voltaren Emulgel three or four times a day.
• The amount needed will depend on the size of the affected area, usually a quantity ranging from the size of a cherry to a walnut is sufficient.
• Use Voltaren Emulgel for up to two weeks if necessary.

Side Effects:

• Skin irritation or redness.
• Topical application reduces the risk of some side effects, such as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal issues, compared to orally administered NSAIDs.

Warnings: Voltaren Gel should not be used in the following cases:

• If you are allergic to diclofenac, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, or any other ingredients.
